You can sex these fish very easily as the male genitals are very visible as a small pointed protrusion in the likely area. Females will either not have any growth or a very small protrusion. See Catelog and COTM.

Best sized tanks for catfish only tanks
I'm looking to get a new tank for only catfish so I want it to maximize surface area and minimize unnecessary height. What sizes do most people here use. I've seen nice 33 and 40 long tanks and even a really cool 75 long being 72' long!!
Also where can I get these longbodied tanks?
