unknown cats 1 holding eggs?

Post by freightrain »

Hi
I purchased these cat's at different sources, the first one at my LFS
Image
Its is around 6 inches and eats well, loves to hide all day.

The next 3 from a local breeder who got these from an importer was told they are WC.
they are both around 5 Inches

On the last pic I noticed the cats belly really getting big in the last couple of weeks, could she be holding eggs?

any help on these would really be appreciated.

Thanks

Definitely NOT schoutedeni.

I think it's a hybrid, but maybe one of those cameleopardalis-lookalike species, there's a bunch of species with a very similar pattern that I'm not overly familiar with.

but I have this itchy intuition that says "hybrid" when I look at the 2-3-4th pic :(

That species is a hybrid and usually has larger dorsal and adipose fins than your fish.
