ok, I had Dale ID these guys at the catfish convention. I bought them as L174 wilds before the ban. Dale ID'd them as such, but I just want to double check since they just bred again! I got them quite young when they were imported 2 inches or so...The first attempt of breeding didn't work out ~X ...

hmmmmm they are wild. Got them right before the ban when ever that was ? They are larger now obviously as that picture was taken in 2009. But still... got them quite young for wilds. But I'm 99% positive they are wild.

Honestly I'm not 100% as I need to tear apart the tank tomorrow morning. I know there at least three spawns in the tank. Probably ranging from 1 to 2 inches.

I do hope that someone is bringing some super red bushynose to sell.

I did not get these from him. I got 5 wilds from Frybabies.com before the crack down in Brazil. PIcked up a bunch of hypansistrus right before they shut things down. Of course my favorite ones ...

Hey guys... my L333's or what was labeled as L333's spawned and I have fry

But, I just wanted to double check with you guys if that is exactly what I do have...

ok so if I was to add to them you guys would say L66 for sure? I have definent L333's in another tank.... these don't look like them.

They are both quite large... I'd say 4 inches give or take ....

Both about the same size.

They behave like a male and female.... but I'm just double checking with you guys

They are stressed out and the pictures stink lol ... I had to pull them out of their tank for these shots. They are fine and happy in their caves today.

I was asking about the sex of these fish ..... I got L333's, L260s, L174's and L270's before than ban on export was put into place. So I'm looking ...

Need some help... I want to make sure I have both sexes.... I believe they were sold to me as L260's wild a little over a year ago. They are a good 4 inches. Hopefully they are good enough shots....

At what size are the fry safe to travel? I bred these for our mutual friend Barbie, so they need to be in a bag for 2 hours

ok after a few months the Dad is finally getting it right.

I have eyes and tails and dad seems to be doing a good job.

What do I do next? Do I move them or let them stay in the tank? What do I feed the fry for the next month or so.... anything special I need to know in order to raise them up?
