Have you read this thread http://www.planetcatfish.com/forum/view ... hp?t=26141 ? It should help you ID your fish - if you are still unsure pay particular attention to the shape of the til & whether it is solid in colour or has a lighter bar at the edge.

hey, it's not that easy, unless you have 2" fish or larger and a picture of the whole fish
ofcourse the easiest way is to raise them......if they get larger than 2-2.5" TL they're most definitely cyclurus, cause brevispinis doesn't reach that size

I have some of Barbie's Lophiobagrus fry (they're all doing well, Barbie), and I also have some old Lophiobagrus cyclurus. I don't think Barbie's fish are L. cyclurus.
The sad part here is that these fish are still in a bottom tank on my rack, in the tank I qt'd them in ;). It's most inconvenient to even see into the dang thing, so I've been putting off trying to take pictures. I'll work on that when I shuffle fish around in the next week or so ;).
