Need some help... I want to make sure I have both sexes.... I believe they were sold to me as L260's wild a little over a year ago. They are a good 4 inches. Hopefully they are good enough shots....

Don't look like L260. Not quite sure what they are - L333 comes to mind, but I'm not that great with the Hypancistrus L-numbers - there are a few too many that look very similar.

Possible. I didn't think they look like my L066 - but mine are only a good inch long still.

ya, they are def not L260s.
between the L066 or L333, I am leaning more towards L333.
question: whats that red rash looking on them?

yeah I was wondering that also, the reddish colour, just was hoping it was somehow how the pic turned out.

They are stressed out and the pictures stink lol ... I had to pull them out of their tank for these shots. They are fine and happy in their caves today.
I was asking about the sex of these fish ..... I got L333's, L260s, L174's and L270's before than ban on export was put into place. So I'm looking to see what I actually have here.
I want to make sure I have both sexes and if I don't either sell them or buy more to add to the group.

The second fish looks like a definite male. The first fish is either a subdominant male or a female - not quite clear enough. I'd suspect male.

The first fish looks like a female depending the actual size which is difficult to estimate on the picture, the second is 100% male

They are both quite large... I'd say 4 inches give or take ....
Both about the same size.
They behave like a male and female.... but I'm just double checking with you guys

Janne is probably as much of an expert as you can find on this forum, so if he says L66, then L66 it is.
