I had Dale ID these at the catfish convention so I'm pretty sure these are , got them a few years ago. But, I want to double check since they just spawned :-BD Their first spawn didn't work out so I am hoping this spawn does :YMPRAY:

Here is a shot of one of them... sorry, they hide all the time so it's hard for me to get a better shot.

Hi Sarah,

I think you need to post pics of the parents, ID from young this size is unreliable.

hmmmmm they are wild. Got them right before the ban when ever that was ? They are larger now obviously as that picture was taken in 2009. But still... got them quite young for wilds. But I'm 99% positive they are wild.

I will post in the ID forum though... thank you Jools :)

OK, I didn't notice the water mark, I thought you were posting the fry. Yeah, I'd post the adults now - they should be able to be confirmed at that age.

Cheers,

Well, I guess I'll wait then... I'm not going to tear the tank apart at the moment. He is on the eggs :-BD

I'm betting on L174. The only other one I would consider is L400. Congrats on the spawn.

Hi!!

I would say L174 as well...but would love to see other pictures...as L174 is usually bulkier in apparence...but this could be because of the angle of the pic...
L400 is another candidate for sure
Cheers

I will post pictures as soon as I can :d They might not look as blucky in this picture due to the fact they were not in the greatest tank for breeding/feeding when I took this pic as I figured they were too young at the time. They are now in a 20 gallon tank by themselves ( just two of them :romance-heartbeating: )... but in all honesty they don't look too different other than the fact they are bigger/fatter b-)

I got them pretty young... 2 inches or so. I would say in this picture they are about 2 inches. Very slow growing.

Sarah if these are the L174 you purchased from Julie, then yes, they are definitely L174 IMO. They were on my list of fish to get and you beat me to them :p. Perhaps we can trade fry from something at the next convention, hehe.

Hey hun :)

Yeah, these are from Julie. I believe she still has her group as well.

I'd be up for some L260 :d

Ps... you should really come for the ACA this year :YMPARTY: I hear someone has plenty of room and a good deal on a room with your two favorite girls already in the room 8-} I probably won't be around much though... so it would be you and Julie. Fish show registration ~X(
