I do prefer using substrate...coz' an established substrate would provide benefits to the enclosed ecosystem. The gravel issue would be a case to case basis as it depends on how u clean or maintain ur tank. It also adds to the aesthetic look of the aquarium...I tend to avoid using a bare-bottom tank ...

Same old setup which I posted before...it's a 120g tank that has been used more than five years now...so I guess you could say that it has been well-cycled. Apparently my L260s bred again in my 120g african cichlid tank...just want to let you guys know that if it happened to me twice, it could happen to you

wow...this is weird...I also have a pure white zebra. It turned white 1 week ago. It doesn't look sick or anything, I was just thinking that maybe it's a bit stressed. I have 2 zebras and the other one is fine and still has the black stripe pattern...They are in a 15g species tank...both are close ...

I would prefer an L-177 when it comes to Golden Nuggets, I read somewhere that the other Golden Nuggets would lose their spots as they mature.
