the 8 gallon tank is all glass panes and wood frame
its got an internal filter with an air pump for aeration and a small 5 or 10 watt heater that keeps it about 76 or 78 degrees F in there

the angels will be moved to the 29 Gallon when they get bigger
the barbs have already been moved to the 55 ...

Ive got a 55 Gallon and im getting another 55 gallon so I will have 2 new homes for them when they get to that size
if they outgrow those I will just have to get a bigger tank ;)

theyre only there until the other tank has been established
I wasnt planning on getting them they were given to me free today when i bought the 55 stand and the 29 hex
im getting a filter for both the other tanks tomorrow and will probably move them over in about a week

if the water temperature is 32 degrees, I think there would be other issues than size...

that is actually an area where you can input a temp, it defaulted to 32 when i didnt enter anything, I just wanted the size of the tank and the amount of water in the tank. I would also think that these ...

It's fairly normal for the plec to be hiding out since he is fairly new to the tank,I would'nt worry about this so much since there is normally algae for them to feed on inside the tank,As for the lighting,You could try using a red low light bulb for awhile during the day to see if that helps you ...

They prefer low lightling. What I normally do is just turn off the lights in the tank and have the room rights on. That way, I can still see my pl*cs and they won't be bothered by the bright tank lights.

i do this as well, they tend tyo hang out on one side of my 55 gallon tank so i just hut off ...
