BAD MOVE! the pangasius killed every single barb then got the ich. i was told a raise in temparature would do the trick?

i know this is a panganisus catfish, but it's slightly longer fin gave me suspicions of it being a pangasius hypophthalmus as was mentioned in other posts.

messy fish as in managing to turn the water green-yellow or blocking a cheap filter? should they be kept in groups or single?

thanks for the information on the sharks and barbs, i'll try to get about 7 barbs and a few red-tailed sharks for the pangasius catfish. hopefully they'll make "friends"

i was going to get the red tailed shark ( black body red pectoral and caudal fins) red tailed cats are said to grow massivily.

my aquarium is a 4ftx2ft. i was doubting the possibility of keeping tin foils as many people warned me that the shark cat fish are violent and would kill them. i was also was wondering if should get chiclids:they are colourful and might stand up to the sharks

i read it is good to feed a pleco cut cubes from a potato. it also said you could feed them lettuce, any1 got other pleco home foods.

these fish don't stop growing even if kept in a small aquarium. at the pet shop they might be small and cute they all reach full size!

i dont have one of those catfish but they do grow very large (80 inches/200cm), they won't stop growing even if put them in a small aquarium. i suggest a very large display aquarium as they do live up to their reputation(one guy has a two footer)

they started to eat now prase the lord, they're eating normal gold fish flakes. you mentioned the treatment can be dangerous for corydoras so should i also fear my catfishes health during the process

if you really want to get rid of the snail infestation the green puffer fish(tetraodon nigroviridis)is an anti-snail weapon . my local petshop owner uses them to rid his tanks of snails. your only problem is that it is an asian fish
