Come on, not the hybrid topic again. It has already been discussed in this forum too often. Everybody should have his own opinion torwards hybrids. My opinion is that if I know that a fish is a hybrid I wouldn't buy it.

I would say that the fish in the 60" tank are too big. Am I right if I say that I can see a Synodontis in it? If yes I have to say that I wouldn't put a Syno on a Placo tank.

Silurus is right! You will nowhere find better information about Synodontis than here. Belive me, I have tried before I came to this page.

12 gallons is far too small. I would say 100 gallons as a minimun.

I don't understand why you have changed the whole water. I do a water change every 10 days 25 to 33 % and I have never had problems.

IME two or three doesn't do justice to the active behaviour of both species, and since you're into Tangsyno's anyway (and not really into c*****ds, more of an add-on, right?) That's right. There will only be Tangsyno's in the tank. No cichlids. I will put in 3 multipunk females and 2 males and 4 ...

In a former reply you said that the number of petricolas should be higher than the number of multipunks. I think 7 petricolas to 5 multipunks should be OK. Or do you think different?

You have already told me that the different speed of growing of multis and petris is a problem. My LFS told me now that he can't order the fish in a size wanted. But he has allways petris with a size of 5 cm and multis with 9 cm available. Would this be OK?
