Since yesterday they already started to show spawning activity

Here's a video of today. They've been at it for 2 days now

It took me quite a long time to make them look better. They hatched during my 3 weeks holiday, so they didn´t get any food in the beginnig and the father didn´t let them out of the cave. When I came back I saw them like pictured in the photo. The following youngsters looked much better.jac wrote:@Racoll, I agree. Specially the fry pics shown, they look emaciated...
Ok, that explains why they look like that. If it was me, I wouldn't have send in those pictures but waited until they looked healthy and well fed.Acanthicus wrote:It took me quite a long time to make them look better. If you repeat the experiment enough times, account for interfering factors and still get the same results, then yes, they are different!jac wrote:What does this mean? Could L70 be different from all other Hypancistrus?
Thanks Robrob rensen wrote:Great news !! Congrats !!!!!!
Well, that depends on your keeping.AleGer wrote:I think all (or almost all) of my hypancistrus (L174, L201, L340 ...) eggs hatches approximately at 5-6th day, not earlier.

Ok thanks for explaining Mats.MatsP wrote:It works fine for me too. But there may be stuff like different versions of flash-player or configurations of browser as well as firewalls, "internet security tools" and such that affect the viewing of videos through this site.
