Yeah i know, i dont mesure ammonia because my nitrites would increase aswell if ammonia would be high.. I have tested my water for amonia before, and never encountered any problems since i do waterchanges properly. And i clean the sant etc and clean the filters regularly in aquarium water. As i do ...

Hey, We have got a RTC That is about 4-5 months old. We are running with a PH 7,5 and 0 no2 etc etc. All is fine. FE is far below harmful levels and we have well water, no chlorine. Well aquariums with aluminum framing is very common and it does get in contact with the water. Atleast in swe its wery common.. And light fixtures made in aluminum the condensed water drips back into the aquarium from... Even if this wasnt slightly related to the topic. Had a PH of 7.5 for a few ...

Iron is toxic to fish. Depending on concentration, hydrogen sulfide, mercaptanes, and other related inorganic and organic sulfure compounds can be toxic-to-lethal to any living organism. Small RO systems are not that expensive. Charcoal filters making drinking water, like Brita, may work too ...

Do you use public water? They put nasty chemicals in public water sometimes that can have adverse affects on fish. No we have our own water that smells like eggs and tastes like iron ^^. Starting to think that the water from the well is the problem. And i cant fill 155 gallons with bottled water :D ...

Ok, after he turned white, i cleaned out all the filters completely and had the tank empty since i resiliconed it. had them in a smaller tank for a week or two. And no of the old water was released in the newly siliconed tank. Also running with activated carbon in the fluval FX5. Using Waterlife 6.5 ...

Yeah i had him up for long some of the times, But i also changed the water i had him in 4-5 times so that the tempreature and the oxygen levels in the water remained stable.

Update 02:29 Sweden. He is vomiting ? stones here and there and now he´s belly is completely flat. =D yey! Counting 70+ stones now, size from 2-3mm to 4-5mm. I guess when we removed the large quantity of stones and stomach pumped him he was able to get the remaining out himself. Will try to feed him ...

So.. Pinky update. Got like.. 25 out of 35 stones out.. he is still heavy, and i broke one of he´s "side fins" ? ... That heals tho ? He cant move it atm...
