One of the fish seems vaguely more elongate compared to the other when scrutinised by my untrained eye. They are ...

Liobagrus & Tachysurus ID's
Got these two from a LFS in Japan, it's possible they could be local Both at about 5 inches, my guess is Liobagrus reini and Tachysurus aurantiacus/tokiensis? All opinions welcome, thanks in advance.

Can't wait to see the tank. I've had an empty river style tank in case I ever have the fortune of seeing a footlong Glypto.

They're doing surprisingly well here so far despite the high temps. Feeding and fairly active as well. Not sure how it'll be in the long run though.

All great collections, I might have had a decent collection too if books like these were more available in my local bookstores. Just curious, do most of you purchase these books in stores or online?

A fish I always wanted to keep , perhaps a river style with one way flow would be more comfortable for them.

Re: Ompok ? siluroides
I don't have a better pic , but I would probably know a leeri if I saw one. Perhaps the angle makes it look like one.
Presuming it is a Ompok what would be a close guess ? I will try to get another pic of the fish from the shop/farms commercial post.
