mine L 200's like hikari tabs and catfish pellets.give yours a time,and as sugested observe belly.i have 2,one about 3.5 inches,second over 5 inches.by the way fry of Geo's which i took from You is over 2 inches now,7 of them survived

i don't know is it important but i'm keeping my fishes in PH 5.8-6.5,kh 2,gh 2 nad changing water every 2 days,about 10%.thats how my leucostictas(cichlids) are spawning with L 66 in the same time.if i would be keep them in higher GH in will not work at all.i tried and nothing.GH down,1 week ...

that was my wifes idea to make as natural habitat as possible,thats why probably every fish is spawning regulary,without any problems

i have a pair of L 66.hard to see anyting from your pictures,but if you said they are 4 inch,i would take a risk that you have one female.try to take a picture from top,and pull them out to have look under tail,that what i did with mine.one will have a cicrcle and other will be like a drop.male ...

first picture is L 66(plec 2),same like mine,very bright black&white pattern.Second picture(plec 1) could be L 333.I would say they are differnt L-plecs.

I have 4 x L 66 and every of them have different brigtnest,some very dark,hardly to see any stripes,one same like yours,very bright.then ...

1 x Sturisoma sp.(male)
L 18---unsexed(very peacfull)
4 young festive cichlids(my wife ...

My wife want to keep a pair of L 260 in 40 L tank.Is it enough big ?
as a tank mates she is planning to added group of rummy nose tetras & choclate gourami
Is it a good idea
