I do not believe so, at this size I think would still have juvi attributes especially juvenile spot pattern, and the humeral is different than for frontosus.BTW, any possibility that it may be Synodontis frontosus ?
With those reddish fins, looks like it might be S. schall
With the details above and add the shape of the humeral and barbels as Petterei alluded to and the great pictures (as always Ben)....we could say this is the intermediate spot pattern between juvi and adult of (thanks naturalart)adipose is too large and inner barbels has too long branches in it. At your new photo do I see correct that it has spikes on its humerall process?
