I was just at my LFS today, and saw this fellow hiding in the back of a amall tank. I was immediately struck by his colouration. Not that it's the most vibrant, or colourfull cat in the sea, but in body it looked very much like Liposarcus pardalis in body, but nothing close to it in colouration.
Though it doesn't really come through that well in this pic (it was hastily taken, as he had finally gotten into decent position to shoot). but his lighter colour is a vibrandt golden, and his markings are quite distinct, and bold, not like what I am used to see on either Liposarcus pardalis or Hypostomus punctatus.
It is aproximately 15cm long (nose to tail) Fins are well shaped, fairly rounded. I hope to get a good short of it with extended fins soon.
Anyway, here it is, any thoughts?
