Re: not eating but swimming alot at night, signs of stress?

thanks for the tips, i increase temp from 80 to 82.5F and left aeration on full time, the L66 seems more willing to locate food rather than swimming continuously.

Feces are not stringy, but separate, brown color. I checked their vents and i see nothing to the naked eye. His belly is pretty flat...he is pretty active amongst the others around evening/night time when i feed them...occasional territorial disputes...but i make sure there is food EVERYWHERE...however...even when i think he is ...

Velvet on L103

Yeah, this guy's been having velvet for quite a number of days. Temp @ 78F, 7.7pH, the yellowish white spots have been dissapearing and reappearing, but noticeably less. But what i'm worried about is his discoloration. There are patches of discoloration around his body...i'm worried this may spread ...

Coaxing Butterflies

I kno they are vegetarians, but i'm just experimenting with the diet. I bought some Sera brand 20% spirulina sinking tablets, and i THINK they are eating them but i ...

I've been to all the BA's in ontario, and all the variety of species combined don't match the aquarium scene in Asia/Europe. I just got back from Hong Kong in that famous Aquarium Street and that was bliss....not only for plecos but all species of captive fish.
