Re: not eating but swimming alot at night, signs of stress?
thanks for the tips, i increase temp from 80 to 82.5F and left aeration on full time, the L66 seems more willing to locate food rather than swimming continuously.

vegetables = lettuce and zuchhini...i don't keep them in the water for any longer than 3 days. I agree as well no medication. I feed them 20% Sera brand spirulina tablets. They literally reject bloodworms that i give to them, and i dont think they eat the shrimp pellets as well. Any trick as to get ...

Feces are not stringy, but separate, brown color. I checked their vents and i see nothing to the naked eye. His belly is just not as big, and im really scared that it'll start hollowing out...i should not put any medication in there, as i don't confirm any disease right? not even put precautionary ...

Sunken belly = Internal Parasite/Infestation?

His belly is pretty flat...he is pretty active amongst the others around evening/night time when i feed them...occasional territorial disputes...but i make sure there is food EVERYWHERE...however...even when i think he is ...

Velvet on L103
Yeah, this guy's been having velvet for quite a number of days. Temp @ 78F, 7.7pH, the yellowish white spots have been dissapearing and reappearing, but noticeably less. But what i'm worried about is his discoloration. There are patches of discoloration around his body...i'm worried this may spread ...

I'm not sure but my L052's are really picky eaters, refusing shrimp pellets and "fish meal" algae wafers (low quality algae wafers). I kno they are vegetarians, but i'm just experimenting with the diet. I bought some Sera brand 20% spirulina sinking tablets, and i THINK they are eating them but i ...

Fast current species compatible with plecos
Hi, i'm looking for other species of fish...doesn't have to be catfish that are compatible with general loricariids and are well adapted to very fast currents (i have alot of current in my tank)...hopefully from the blackwater rivers thanks!
