Re: need help identifying

I will try and post some photos! They are about 5-6 inches long...it's really tacky decor! I have a medusa head and a "old pottery" fashioned jar I bought for $1 each because they were clearance and I needed something fast for them to hide in that they wouldn't get hurt on... I have plastic plants ...

It's about 6 inches long, I've only had it a short while, so haven't noticed any visible growth as of yet!

Thank you!!

Re: need help identifying

I have 13 of these wonderful fish! And they do and LOVE enjoying smaller fish as snacks!! They have quite an appetite for anything they fit into their mouths. Mine will be out during the day, but I have had them for 6 years now and they are comfortable with the low traffic in the living room and low ...

Help id this brown with black spots pleco?

I got this guy free from someone when I picked up some other fish and he had no idea what kind of critter it is! And I'm terrible at identifying :) Is he just a common pleco? Hoping someone here can help! :) Thanks! http://i9.photobucket.com/albums/a66/Angelface23/IMG_0462.jpg http://i9.photobucket ...

Re: wanting to have a go at breeding corys, need alot of adv

Curious, any follow up? have you decided to breed corys? and if so, what kind of set up have you put them in? I have a dedicated tank for them as I don't want the eggs eaten by anyone else as all my other tanks have fish that would happily snack on eggs! Good luck and hope you've decided to try your ...

Thanks Jools!

sorry! I use demolished as if in clearing a plate :) Comes from being around children too much j/k

They do play in plants and ruin them, they are very feisty critters with a lot of personality...I just wish they were easier to find in the stores or even for order around here!

Re: Auchenipterichthys coracoideus habitat information please.

Tetras...when I first purchased the cats I was told they would go with anything and still being fairly new to catfish I bought black skirt tetras, which were fine, and then I bought lemon tetras...and they were quick and expensive snacks! They will eat whatever fits in their mouth, neons, cardinals ...

Re: Auchenipterichthys coracoideus habitat information please.

Mine always have huge appetites!! They eat me out of house and home some days! I've started breeding guppies for them..they have demolished most of their tank mates except one lone gourami...and I used to keep them with some african cichlids at one time. I'm hoping now that they are mostly alone ...

I'm not a fan of sweatshirts...they cost more $$'s and don't sell well...unless it's winter. But a t-shirt can be worn all year long...providing you wash it on a regular basis ;)

Recently my tank has been going through some problems, I don't know what it is related to, but I did manage to get some nice photos of my guys just hanging out. So far the Zamoras don't seem to be affected by the sudden deaths of all my other fish, I just lost 3 africans today in their tank...plus I ...
