They do play in plants and ruin them, they are very feisty critters with a lot of personality...I just wish they were easier to find in the stores or even for order around here!

Update on my new Zamoras :) There are 6...and all females...they are SOOOO tiny compared to my originals!!! But they are all out and swimming around more now as there is I think 14? LOL lost count!!! they eat a LOT though!!!!! it's amazing how much food they pack away!! i'm going to buy some live ...

good thread here!! I have been stung by pictus catfish and my arm swelled and I couldn't move my arm from the elbow to fingers for an entire day, it was worse than a bee sting! there is a lesson learned in this for newbies to fish...
never ever put something small enough for a catfish to swallow ...as they will!! doesn't matter what it is...if it fits in the mouth it's fair game!
