Re: Received as L-183's
I tried to get a lateral view but he wouldn't "flair" while taking the photos. He did a couple of times after and had a huge dorsal fin. There is no white on the tail fin but a little on the dorsal which can be seen in the photo above. It almost looks yellow in the photo, looks like a short dash.

Received as L-183's US
The fish pictured is a male of which I also have a female. I traded two zebra pleco juvies for four of these fish about three years ago. They and some other plecos have been in a large tank with lots of caves. They were fed and water changed regularly but that's about all. The picture turned out ...

US wanted: corydoras scultzi black
I would like to purchase some adult "black" corys. Have a female and finally after two years she is spawning big time. I have three that survived a tank accident and the other two may not be males or too young. Need a big stud. I understand they are not aeneus but schultzi. And if so, would the ...

Re: 4 sale L183, Ithaca, NY
A year ago or so I got a colony of what I was told were L-33's but found later they were not. They look exactly like your picture and have bred for me, I am looking for more. May not be the same but do you have any left? I live near Portland, OR. Tried to PM you but wouldn't work. Thanks.

Bristlenose breeding
Dumb question, but will calico bristlenose both regular fin and long fin breed with albino and/or chocolate bristlenose? Have a large planted tank with both types and don't want to disrupt plantings by trying to separate. Thanks,
Lary

Re: L46 Tankmates
I have two L-46 species tanks, one a 30 long and the other a 20 long. I have a third 20 long set up waiting for my third group. I have two albino corys and two albino bristlenose in each tank and so far no problems. One L-46 tank produces fry.

Live Black Worms for Ancistrus
I have heard both arguments and know of one breeder in Chicago who feeds his ancistrus live black worms big time. Also heard from others that their intestinal tract won't handle the live worms. My experience was that when I first "discovered" black worms I got carried away and fed them to all my ...

Pale Bristlenose
I have experienced the same situation. Usually it takes about a week from the time I first notice the whiteness appearing until the fish dies. I have one now that has turned pale and been that way eating like normal for three weeks. Don't know what causes it and it appears as neither does anyone else.

Cory Babies
I have been sweating blood for 1 1/2 weeks trying to keep my new hatch (first attempt) of albino corys alive in their own tank. It looks like 6 out of about 30 will make it. At the same time while feeding my spawning 10 gallon tank with gravel and a sponge filter (and 8 adults) I noticed there is a ...
