Bristlenose breeding

Post by reticulata »

Dumb question, but will calico bristlenose both regular fin and long fin breed with albino and/or chocolate bristlenose? Have a large planted tank with both types and don't want to disrupt plantings by trying to separate. Thanks,

If they are all variants, then sure, they will breed together in any and all combinations that you have male/females. I'm pretty convinced that they do not spot the differences in colouration when it comes to breeding.
