Is it possible that this is an 'incomplete' Albinism in these fish rather tha a 'true' albinism as albino ancistrus are a yellow colour, sometimes with light grey traces on fins rather than the white/pink of a true albino?. I have a new ten gallon .... What cories would go with this fish
I purchased some butterfly cichlids at lfs, anomalochromis thomasi... it will be a ten gallon tank with several plants and a heater at 79 I think... 200gph flow on the filter..

That is likely what it wasmarktman wrote:Sounds like a bacterial thing to me. I stay away from adding bacteria to a tank when I add new fish. Wait a few days and then add any conditioner with live organisms in it. The best thing to do when adding new fish is not to do anything for a few days. Just my opinion.
