Looking for Mystus tengara.

I've got four Mystus tengara, sometimes identified as Mystus Carcio, that I've had for a few years but would like six or eight (possibly more) more for a new setup I've got in the works. It's a 200g with lots of rocks, driftwood and some shoals of danios and tetras. I can't find anyone that stocks ...

escargot?

Since I have hords of MTSs is there some quick and easy way I can extract their bodies to feed to my fish? Because they have rediculously tough shells none of my fish can eat them as is.

Man. escargo, caviar (sp?), my fish have done more fine dining than I have in my whole life.

I feed mine a little bit of everything. Algae wafers, shrimp pellets, flakes, fresh fruits, and occationaly frozen brine shrimp (if the other fish dont get it all first.) but he loves to eat!

Pleco eating snail!

Not realy but I did have to save my common pleco from one of my apple snails (Pomacea bridgesii) I guess the pleco was eating off of the bottom of the snails operculum (flap that covers the hole when the snail receses in its shell,) and somehow the plecos nose and part of his mouth got pinched ...

All of my S. nigriventris seem to be much more active when the light is on. And anytime the light is off for more than an hour or so, their color fades drasticly. When the light comes back on it takes only a few minutes for their color to fully return. Is this normal? Although I am a bit more fond ...

Syno nigriventris and Mystus carcio tank size

I have five Syno Nigriventris (one more comming soon) and four (possibly one more soon) Mystus Carcio all are between 3/4in and 1 1/2in. I was wondering what size tank I will need when they are all full grown. Would a 29g be alright or will I need a 55g? There is also a red tail black shark with ...

S. Eupterus = Featherfin catfish, S. Nigrita= lace catfish

My Eupterus has four tiger barbs with her and they ignore each other completly. I dont have real plants so I cant comment on them but the eupterus is good at leaving the fake ones right where they are.

Look at the caudal fin. They have the distinctive vertical stripes that eupterus tend to cary with them throughout their lives. Thats my estimated guess. Beautiful whatever they are.

I finnaly decided I was going buy it but it was gone when I went for it. I was quite impressed how healthy it looked ...
