I see you have the same probleme like me..... Fish who don't participoate at the spawn eat eggs. I have four males and four femels and i have only ten or 20egg at each spawn..... But 40 eggshell without nothing inside. They are eaten. Is there a method to avoid that fish don't eat the eggs ? than ...

They can have a adult tall but not the color.

How long do they live in your tank ?
You don't know their age ???
You must spend one year more and if you don't see any differences you can say : "it's 2 differents species".
