Hi Yannick. I have not kept or bred L333 but I have bred many L066. I am wondering if you should raise the temperature a bit from 25 C to say 28 C. The recommended temperature on PC is 26-31 C. Also sometimes males can take a while to learn how to raise their fry properly. My L201 male ate 6 ...

Aftr the paleatus, i want to try sterbai.
I have 14 fish wha have 2 years old but they refused to spaw.

I would not use one of the small ponds. If they get sun, they rapidly reach high temperatures, over 30 C, and when the sun disappears, the temperature will drop again. I'm agree with you..... But also, when the temperature increase in summer, you see the oxygene lever decrease in the water ...

I have put the last summer ten paleatus in a big artificial pond : 1000 liters. Without air, filter, nothing.....A little of food twice / a week but they have natural food : daphnies and gammares. In france, the night is at 45-50 F (7-10°C) It's wasn't a porblem...... I have had a very good surprise. ...

In france, I have never see albinos sterbai.....
But normal are between 7 and 10 euros in a shop.....
And when you buy at flea market (a man and it's not is job) you can buy at 3 € or ten for 25 €

I see you have the same probleme like me..... Fish who don't participoate at the spawn eat eggs. I have four males and four femels and i have only ten or 20egg at each spawn..... Continue experiences... They is a reason but why ???? I can'y help you but i have the same problem with my sterbai..... I supose, i try to understand.... all informations here are very intresting. My difficulty is next to the hatching. I put eggs in breeding box on the glass of adult tank. 2-3 days after the hatching, i give banana worms, adult granular in powder. I inhale(suck up) every day waste in the 1 liter tank. But My babies died one by one ...

I am happy to discover that you can use spawning mop for cories.....
Before reading this post i believe that was only for the killi.

They can have a adult tall but not the color.

How long do they live in your tank ?
You don't know their age ???
You must spend one year more and if you don't see any differences you can say : "it's 2 differents species".
