Aeneus, C.Paleatus, C.Panda, C.Schwartzi, Brochis Britskii...all the common species. Were these scientifically classified before the C-Number system started, and ...

Sexing C.Schwartzi
I have a group of six C.Schwartzi in my community tank, and i wondered if anybody has any tips on sexing them. Is this one of the species that shows dimorphism in the ventral fin shape? It's hard to tell with my group as they allways hide under a bank of dense planting, and i can't see the body ...

THIS TRADE IS CRUEL. If you read the letters from aquababies owners page at: http://www.aquababies.com, you realise just how misguided these people are. They could enjoy fishkeeping in a much better, more humane manner, instead of making these poor creatures lives miserable. It makes me sad and angry ...

Flashing/scratching
This COULD be due to the small particles of silver sand getting among the Armour plates of the corys and irritating them.Just guessing, but I saw this once when I had a flashing goldfish.under a magnifying glass, i could see the particles of sand.Just Guessing though!

Daphnia Cultures
I have a culture of Daphnia in a 10 litre tank, and I feed them on yeast every few days. Does anyone else keep Daphnia cultures? has anyone found a food better than yeast?
All replys would be greatly apreciated!

Starting a breeding program
Hi Olway,
Ive just started a breeding program (my first one!) with C. Paleatus, and Im conditioning them in the community tank, giving plenty of fast sinking pellets my dealer sells under their own name. fast sinking so the guppies (also in the tank) don't get them!
My Corys relish bloodworm, and ...
