Thank you, Alan. Today I will be having a problem keeping the temp DOWN! Very hot here right now. But, I do keep a fan blowing into the tank. That really helps!

Thanks, Mats. I mainly want a couple in that tank for algae eating purposes. And I do already have about a dozen juvies. I can make sure the temp doesn't drop below 72F. It is up to 73F right now as the day warms up. The tank they are in is at 78F. What would be the best way to acclimate them to a ...

Bristlenose in temps as low as 70C?
Has anyone kept these at lower temps? I would like to put a few juvies in my Hillstream loach tank. The temp averages 70C - but does get up to mid to upper 70's in summer - and there is alot of current. Do you think they would do ok in there?
Thanks so much!

Selling Albino BN to LFS
I have a dozen juvie albino bristlenoses. Unfortunately, they did not spawn in my tank - I bought them. I know some of you folks sell these to your local lfs'. I would like to sell some also but, have no idea what to ask for them. :?: I also want to make sure I keep a breeding pair for future ...

Thanks Barbie! I did find some other posts here that were helpful. dancingdryad: Thank you so much for the detailed information. It helped immensely. Especially with my worrying about how fragile they might be. I've got some nice driftwood in there for them and they seem very active. I'll wait till ...

Raising Bristlenose Fry - Help
I just rec'd 18 Albino Bristlenose fry today. They are 1/2" long. I don't know their age. I've never raised fry before so, I need a little help. They looked too small to put in a community tank so, they are in a 5 gallon tank now. I will be doing daily water changes and feeding zucchini, shrimp ...

I need advice re: S. Eupterus, please
I have 2 S. Eupterus in my 55 gal. community tank. The larger (female?) is pushing 6", while the smaller (male?) is about4-1/2". I am planning to re-scape the tank and add more plants and I think I just have too much catfish in there! Current inhabitants are: the 2 synos, 8 cories, 3 otos, 4 black ...

Bottom feeder compatibility
Hi all,
My 55 is ready for fish and I want to make sure I'm not going to have problems putting the following together: 1 adult male bristlenose, 2 juvie synodontis eupterus and 8 assorted cories. These are from my smaller tanks.
Appreciate any info on these guys! Thanks

Catfish ID, Please?
I picked up two of these today. The LSF just had them labeled as Lace Catfish. Can someone be more specific? Thanks!
