Cory Aeneus vs Brochis Splendens - Help me Choose
Hi everyone, Pls help me choose of the two fishes, Corydoras Aeneus or Brochis Splendens, as I have never had either. I have only had Cory Paleatus and Aspidoras Albater. Tank is 75 Gallon, planted, with sand substrate, not heated, kept at room temp, usually 23 C is the room temp. I currently have 3 ...

Re: Which Small Pleco did you keep the longest
Correct, looking for a 5" or smaller (12"+ is too big) to I can keep in my 75gallon tank along with my BN pleco. My tank doesnt have a heater though, and room temp is around 23C.

Re: Cory Hastatus
thanks for the responses. Basically, I was wandering if they were a fun fish to have, or would they be hiding most of the time, never being able to see them, in a 10g planted tank. My Aspidoras Albater (similar to Habrossus) hide a lot, but do come out a lot too, and I have a few babies in the same ...

Cory Hastatus
Hi everyone, So I have a planted 10g tank right now with only snails and rcs, and I am thinking of a dwarf corydoras. I was thinking about 9 to 12 of them, as I hear a few might die when you first get them. Are the Hastatus easy to keep? Do they school even after a few weeks when you first get them ...

Re: Blackworms / Bloodworms: How Often?
Don, thanks for sharing, i had the fear of that. Unfortunately, my wife wont allow live worms, so i cant give them what my fish really want, and it is a shame. But i can give them the frozen ones, so its less bad ;). So I could give them the brine shrimps and krill on the off days. About the Ripashi ...

Re: Blackworms / Bloodworms: How Often?
Thanks guys, I do also have Earthworm Pellets, Spirulina Pellets, and Veggie Pellets, which i only give to my spidoras. However, I want to stear away sort of from dried food, and concentrate on gel food / frozen food. I guess my worry was giving them TOO MUCH protein... thus i had hesitations ...

Blackworms / Bloodworms: How Often?
Hi everyone, I have some Corydoras Paleatus and some Aspidoras Albaters, all adults or adolescent at least. I have bought some frozen blackworms and some mini bloodworms cubes. How many times per week should i feed them this food. They also get a home made gel food i make with veggies as the other ...

Re: Do Corydoras Paleatus School? (same Q with Brochis)
thanks for the response. I am getting the feeling that only the Cory Hastatus may try to "school".
You have very beatifull looking corydoras type fish, i really like the look.
Do you think it would look nicer to get another 4 - 6 same type corydoras i have, or 6 of another type?

Do Corydoras Paleatus School? (same Q with Brochis)
Hi, I have a 75 gallon tank well planted with playsand substrate. I have 6 Corydoras Paleatus, 8 White Cloud Mountain Minnows, 1 SAE, 1 BN Pleco, and another type of fish i forgot the name. Note, the fish seem happy, they even ignore my hand (ie not scared of me) when i do tank maintenance or change ...

Cory (and similar) above 3" (75mm)
Hi All,
I was looking for a list of Corydoras (or aspidoras) that are "nice / peacefull" and above 3" (75mm), and bellow 5" (125mm) if possible. I want to put a few in my 75 gallon tank, but dont want my larger fish 6" - 8" to eat them.
Thanks in advance
