The cave gets quite tight further down, there are three caves and the one they have selected is the largest, there is a male in one of the smallest caves also, but she and the other female want this cave, this male

l am getting a little, hmmmm :-X with my L260 currently Standard 4 ft tank, 2 males 3 females, over head tickle filtration, 2400 ltr per hour temp is 27 and the Ph is 7, it is the top tank 1.6 meters of the ground with little traffic past it, they are fed twice a day, flake and frozen blood worm ...

l notice in the Cat-eLog that the L201 has lost the name Contraden and is now sp., why has that happened?

We have a tank with our Hyp. in 8 x 2 x 2, 9 zebs, 10 Contradens and young, there is gravel on the bottom of the tank and is a live with black worm is some sections, where they wave in the current eating any uneaten food, no sign of choking Hypan. young anywhere

Wait a moment, black worms dont only come in one size , they do breed so there would have to be smaller ones in there some where?
l would also imagine these or very similar to black worm are found in thier river system.

l would go back and turn the temp down on the tank to about 26, l have found 28 just abit on the high side. Remember These guys tend to be a bit "Tuby" especially the females. l agree with the others the lack of salts can have big effect on the fish, we use tap water, l would go as far as removing ...

i cant speak for the L270, but the L201 would be fine, they are easy going and will start breeding at about 6cm...l would sell you some of mine young cheap if you pick them up in person
