please ppl, i am posting this only cuz i see that many ppl use large tanks for breeding plecos...
My funds are limited, and also room space is limited too, so i must know is it good or not?!
TO me it looks allright, but one confirmation will mean allot! :D

Hi!
Are 60*40cm tank is good enough to breed some small loricariids?!?
It is aprox 70l...
Currently i will try to breed some Clown plecos, and maybe later L201, and who knows what the future will bring me... :)

Take a piece of cucumber or zucchini, and pierce it with a little tea spoon... then just simply put the spoon wherever you want!
...spoon want affect your water, and it is quite a simple but effective thing to do! :wink:

Peckoltia sabaji will fit perfectly in my show tank, and hypancistrus will get one tank only for them... maybe even biotope tank...Who knows...

Well the story goes like this... my LFS boss gets fishlist from Singapor, and when he comes to L-page :wink: , he calls me... Then i get a list of Lnumbers that are available, and after that move, i visit my FAVOURITE catfish webpage, and her Cat-eLog :D So , i narrow the choices to interesting ...

Worton, i have 3 clowns, 2 females and 1 male... One female is 8cm, and she is definetly gravid, also my second female is a little bit smaller but she is gravid to:-)) Male is around 6cm, and when he shows you sexual dimorphisam, he is ready... my is a hairy little bastard... :D Good thing is that ...

I must agree with Allan, these cory's are NOT C34, they do not have long snout...
I think they are the same as Allan posted...

@Ian , my plecos dosen't have that nice finannge like L102 does...
Dorsal and caudal fins dosen't have that black stripe...
TO me it looks just like hypancistrus inspector in the vat-eLog... but you guys are PRO :wink:

Leopard plecostomus???

HI!
Does anybody know what pleco is labeld in LFS as "Leopard plecostomus"???
It looks like Liposarcus pardalis, but this pleco has siniliar body pattern... nore like stripes than dots...

I am also new in that area of sexing loricariids, but if you can adjust your cam for superzoom, the pics will be better!!
At this stage, i could say that both of them are males... but, i am no exp!!

looks like common ancistrus to me, try looking at the Cate-Log for ancsitrus sp.(3)

They look similiar like color variations in pics of L004!!??

Well , they have one mopan wood in tank... but there is near 6 little loricariids in there so i don't think so...
One thin that is confusing me is a pic in Cat-eLog... on some pics they are black as night, and on some pics they are greyish...
I don't want to see them dead... :cry:
