New tank mates for my Corys, please give advice!
I have a 10 gal tank, it is always kept very clean and is home to three little Cory's who seem to like it very much. All three of my Cory's are of different Cory species (if you've seen my past posts you'd know that I was not able to find Cory's of all the same species, but my three little guys seem ...

Re: Feeding corys vegetables
I'm also very curious about this subject :YMDAYDREAM: ! I was walking threw my local bookstore and picked up a fish aquarium book, flipped to the Cory's section and read that they do in fact enjoy eating vegetables. What I did for my Corys (since I also like to spoil them silly :ymblushing: ) is I ...

Re: Keeping multiple species of corys?
Sorry if I didn't specify before, I have a ten gal tank with only 3 individual Cory's. One is an emerald Cory, Sterbai Cory and Lazor Cory. For months I've been looking for more of their kind so that they could be with their own species as I learned they don't get along with other species as well as ...

Keeping multiple species of corys?
As I've said in the forum before, my local pet store has a very low amount of fish. I've been checking everyday for a few months for a new Cory since I asked the question "Can I put one more Cory in my tank?" because there was another bronzed one like mine. After hearing the good news that I could ...

Re: Extremely shy corys and otos
When I first got each one of my Cory's they were very playful, but as they got older they do hide almost all the time. At first it confused me till I read up on the way these fish live in nature, they are pretty laid back compared to most fish. At night I can't catch a glimpse of them playing and ...

Re: Laser catfish pregnant, a male? Unsure
She's only getting bigger and bigger! Now I'm even more confused, if she was having eggs they would be here right now. Over the weekend I went away and accidently forgot to feed them when I came home they were fighting for food, but my little laser was still plump, much plumper then before. Could ...

That sounds a lot easier then I thought. I'll be sure to take care of that as soon as possible. What about my Cory does she look like she's carying eggs of some sort?

I know Daniel! I didn't plan on having catfish until I got my first one, is there any way to switch out the gravel by the way?

Re: Laser catfish pregnant, a male? Unsure
Not the only cory, no, but the only laser cory. She was the only one I could purchase, my local pet shop is very limited on fish, the fact I got my corys at all is very lucky. And I don't think its any sort of infection, it swims very happy and healthy with the rest, and yes I did just purchase it ...

Laser catfish pregnant, a male? Unsure
I purchased a little laser catfish about a few weeks ago and I woke up the other morning and noticed a little bump between her pectorial fins, everyday this bump grows and has now taken to a shade of almost light brown or grey. Is my fish still growing or does she infact have eggs inside her? She is ...

Depressed cory?
I currently have 3 Cory fish living in my 10 gal aquarium (1 sterbai, 1 laser and 1 bronze) my bronze Cory was rescued from a very small and dirty fishtank, this fish has been exposed to a large amount of stress. Now that he is in the bigger tank he has grown extremely strong and healthy (which I ...

Unusual catfish eating behavior, help?
Today as I was looking at my green Armored Cory I noticed that when he eats the floating flakes I sometimes feed him, they will go into his mouth and out a slit on one of his cheeks. I'm very worried, this catfish was rescued from a very dirty tank, is it possible its skin got openings from the poor ...
