Depressed cory?
I currently have 3 Cory fish living in my 10 gal aquarium (1 sterbai, 1 laser and 1 bronze) my bronze Cory was rescued from a very small and dirty fishtank, this fish has been exposed to a large amount of stress. Now that he is in the bigger tank he has grown extremely strong and healthy (which I was happy to see ) but he seemed very lonely in the tank by himself so a few weeks in I added my sterbai Cory, who was much more active then my bronze Cory but I figured it was just because he was much younger then the bronze. As time went on, the sterbai seemed lonely as he would swim along while the bronze Cory sat in the corner, so I decided to go out and buy a laser Cory. Currently the sterbai and laser Cory are very happy!! Playing along and swimming freely and happily with one another, but the bronze Cory will still sit in the corner of the tank for 90% of the day. Is this just his temperament or is it because of the stress? Will this go away with time?

Re: Depressed cory?
Hard to say, but it would almost certainly be better to have several corys of the SAME kind, rather than "one of each" sampling of the corys from your LFS...
When I've kept groups of different corys in one tank, they always tend to group with their own kind - I'm not saying they don't sometime "make friends" with the others, but they tend to keep to their own group.
