Re: At what age do C. duplicareus spawn?
About a year.
The F1s I sold to a friend started spawning around the time they were a year and a few months old.

Re: Breeding cory cw 009
My Green Lasers have spawned twice for me this year with good yield. Leaving them alone in their tank (they should be the only fish in the tank!) with minimum disturbance was the key for me. Feed them for a week with live food (in my case I used california blackworms) and clean the walls of the ...

Re: Repashy Fish Food and Corydoras Fry

Repashy Fish Food and Corydoras Fry
Im intrigued with the new Repashy Fish Food that Ted Judy has been advocating lately. Has anyone tested Repashy fish food on Corydoras fry and juveniles ? If yes which particular formula did you use? Thanks in advance for the reply.

Re: Cory digesting problem?
the name of the parasitic worm that can be seen hanging out of fish anus is called Camallanus sp. Check pics of fish infected with Camallanus and compare it with what you see in your cory.

Re: Coming up for air change in Panda behaviour
I also do suspect gill flukes whenever I see a fish in my aquarium showing trouble breathing. i use praziquantel to treat them and usually it heals them unless it was too late to save the fish (too much gill damage). from what i've read, healthy fish can keep gill flukes at bay but once their ...

Re: Which Food do you use?
And after a large water change I bet. My feeble attempts to breed Corydoras duplicareus all went awry. I would get some eggs but my eggs rarely hatched. I admit I wasn't paying enough attention to them but at least I used mostly RO water with a little tap water mixed in. I had the same trouble with ...

I fed my spawning group of Corydoras duplicareus Hikari Bloodworms and live California Blackworms. Feeding of live blackworms always preceded spawning.

Re: My Rio Negro Corydoras Tank
I was on vacation for 9 days and left week-day old and 2 week-old duplicareus fry in a marineland bio-wheel 5-gallon hex and subjected them to do a once a day pinch of hikari first bites feeding regimen. Well not exactly just hikari first bites i also added 1/4th portion of a Hikari Sinking Wafer ...
