Re: Improving C.schultzei(Black)
I am still convinced that Schultzei Black is a breeding form. My blacks will also produce some Schultzei sometimes.

How to raise Sturisoma aureum fry?
Hi all! A while ago my wild caught Sturisoma aureum spawned, most of the eggs hatched. The fry lived for a week or two, stuck to the glass of the 450 liter tank they were in. I fed with green tabs and with frozen kale (boerenkool) as I read in another breeding report here at pc. But after two weeks ...

Does L183 need wood?
Hi all, At the moment I am babysitting a large number of fish for a friend of mine. They are all together in a 1000 liter tank. Among them are some L183. I would like to put those in a separate tank to try to breed them. From their poop I can see that they have been eating wood. Is that something ...

Thanks for the great info!
It is most likely then that I have C. Schultzei 'Black' if I understand you right, since mine have a an all black body.

Re: Truth about black cories
But besides the fact that we are not sure if they are Aeneus or Schultzei, are they a breeding form (which I tend to believe at this moment) or is Aqualog right and are they really found in the wild?

Truth about black cories
Hello all, Since December I have a group of 10 Black Cories. (Sold as C. 'Black Venezuela' overhere) What confuses me though is what they really are. The PC Cat-e-log states them as a breeding form of C. Schultzei. The black colour form was produced by German aquarists in the 90's. Last Saturday I ...

Display my cats?
I am not sure if this is the right spot to ask this question, but how do I get my 'My cats' list displayed on the right side of my posts?
My aquaria is shown, and I have added a list of species to 'my cats', but somehow I cannot find out how to get it displayed.
Thnx

Congrats Mats :-BD Sterbai are lovely Cory's :) I have a group of 25 corydoras Sterbai (F2 generation) in my large angelfish tank. I feed the angels heavily in that tank with live and frozen foods. TDS is about 150, 1 do a 50% waterchange twice a week. The Sterbai spawn about once a month in this ...

adding temp, in cat e log for c. virginiae
Perhaps it is an idea to add to the cat e log that C. Virginiae prefers temperatures between 22 and 26 degrees.
