I think it is a male because the head is broader then de belly, and that in combination with the big bristles, i think its a male to me.

I now L255 females has big bristles like L184 females have, but i think the bristles on the above picture are a bit to big.

Hello and thanks. One died and 7 are left and I release them in the tank with the parents, so I can't control their eating behavior because the are small. The were eating spirulina tabs crushed. What they will eat now I don't now, I hope it will go okey and they can stand up them selfs from the ...

Goodmorning Jeroen, i found a couple of youngsters in a breeding tube with the dad, i moved the tube in an breeding chamber, later that day there were around 8 or 10 juveniles, not much but maybe some left the tube. I put the father back in the same place and lets hope this continues.

Can you tell us something about your water, like temperature and ph at the time of breeding? And the water parameters wright now?

And are the fry with the parents?

How many times do you change the water and how much?

Small update, some pictures of day 33. They are doing great, these are very hard species, where my L183 nest within one month was dead, with this specimen two dead in a month.
