Cories and high temps

Would Peppered cories be able to live in a high temp tank with discus?. The temp would be around 80-82F

Ive got the exact same thing as you. A BN, clown and rubberlip. They are fine together the clown shares a hiding spot with the rubberlip.

Ive been looking into these guys for a while and have heard many stories about the plant eating. Does anyone know how aggressive they are towards other plecs when they are full grown?

Can you guys tell me if what parts of SA the following fish come from, ie what rivers,stream lakes, creeks, ect, and if they would be found in the same areas together? Thanks.

would you suggest a sand substarte? Im kinda wary about leaf litter as I dont know much about it and have heard that it is hard to keep the tank clean with it. Do you know any places with go SA biotope tank pics?

I currently keep my rubbernose with the others and he does fine. I may remove the shark and loaches but i have not decided. why so many banjos?

They were between one and two inches. The usually have very good labeling for common names.

Vanilla Pleco?

Has anyone ever heard of these? My LFS has had them lately but Ive been afraid to but them as i cant find any info on them. They look similar to the Albino Ancistrus in the photo contest except they dont have any bristles. any ideas?

Ive read on the forum of people breeding them in 10g tanks. Lots of conflicting info. Was thinking about ottos for the algae but have heard they like bigger tanks and large groups. I have it in mine 50g currently. I was thinking about moving him to help with algae and to lighten the load in my 50g. Most likely would not be permament, at most for about a year :razz:

Small plecs and small tanks?

Ive had conflicting info about this and though I would ask the experts. Whats your opionion on keeping plecs like BN and Clowns in tanks as small as 10g?

I dont really know Meg. Hate to say it but sounds as if he may be dieing. He doesnt seem to bad in the pick except for his fins. Is he normally darker than that? You started off well by moving him and starting a treatment. Hope he gets better!! How old is he?

Bristlenoses are allways fun. Rubbernose/lips are also good. Do you have any thing in mind? like color? Clown plecs would work too. Those guys are all pretty common. If you want something a little rarer you could go with leopard frog plecs or even a zebra plec if your willing to spend the money

Give him a few days to darken. New fish tend to do this. My red tailed shark took 3 days to get the red back in his tail. It turned pink after the lfs guys netted him. :razz:

Cut back on the feeding and do larger water changes when needed. Also you tank sounds a little overstocked. Have you checked the full grown size on you fish?
