Which Farlowella is this
Could anyone help with the ID?
It has 2 rows of belly scutes. Farlowella vittata or accus or something else?
Wondering if they are the same or different.
Thank you

Re: Sexing L184
Managed to take a better pic of the suspected female. It's about 10cm.
. It has bristle growth on the middle. So I'm thinking it could very well be a male

Re: ancistrius ID
Well I've bred the 3 strains of cirrhosus. The pie bald, albino and the normal strain. It didt look anything like these guys when I first got them. Kept that fish for 3 years already and gotten it when it was 3" which by then the bristle would have been bushy instead of a few strand.

I crossed a calio with an albino. It gave the original bn color, calio, albino. The fries were mixed with albino being the least and the original being the most. From there i crossed the F1 original bn color and ended up with the original color, calio and albino. Still the original were the most ...

Thanks Cristoffer, the younger piece did had a fat tummy once which made me believe it was female initially however after several months later(just a few days back) I took them up to reset them and realise that the younger one has more male features compared to few months back. Re: Please sex my L134
It seems female. L134 is difficult to get them to spawn. Even hypan or pesuda having you can have pairs or colony but it still boils down to whether the fish wants to breed or not. Environment, water and breeding medium plays a part in breeding them. Most often the trick is to not bother about them ...
