Bottom pic could be CW028. My second guess would be C. pulcher. Some peeps think my CW028 pic is C. pulcher, but I have both species and don't believe so. - Frank

I used to be schizophrenic, but we're OK now. At least that's what my dog is always telling me!

The first fish looks to be very close to C110, the second C18 and the third is C. pulcher. All three species will display variation in their colour patterns within a population, this can often cause confusion when trying to identify a species.

Ian - do you think that the fish in my pic is ID'd correctly. Since the photo was taken the first dorsal spine has grown, significantly, a few displaying a waving flag appearance. Cheers. - Frank

Frank,

Your fish is C28 without a doubt.

900801,

If you look at the images you will see that the body patterns are very different. Also the head and body shape are different.

Ian

Thanks, Ian. I'm setting up a new photo tank today and will shoot my supposed C. pulcher to see if you are with their ID. Cheers. - Frank
