Breeding Pimelodellas?

Has anyone bred, or read anything on the topic, Pimelodellas? I have Pimelodella australis I brought back from Uruguay and I'd love some insight on if they are spawnable or not. If so, what type of setup would I need for a group of 7 or 8. Right now I have them in a 75 on sand with some driftwood ...

Re: Anyone Breeding L-24?

9 and 11" are too small for L-24? I would have thought that would have been close to breeding size for the smaller 24 (vs 25).

Anyone Breeding L-24?

I have been looking around for posts but haven't found much of anything on breeding L24. Anyone know if it's been done? I am thinking about taking it on, trying to come up with some ideas on optimal ways of housing them, how much flow, how to prep them, trigger, etc.

Sorry, not used to international forums. 20L = 20 Long, which would be 75 liters.

Re: Help Sexing L204 Flash

I've got a total of 6 and I've had them all well over a year. I find them very slow growers, hardly having grown much in this year I've had them. Perhaps it's what Apistomaster posted, maybe I'm not feeding enough. I can say they will shed the wood quicker than any other genus I've kept. I have 4 in ...

Help Sexing L204 Flash

I got a batch of Flash plecos in last year and thought I might try to sex them now. Most are around 2-2.5 inches SL. I have a couple obvious males, one 4+ incher that I didn't bother taking pictures of. The others are up in the air. Pretty sure I have mostly male but would love to find a female in ...

Re: L-271

I just picked up 6 as well. I have three that are over 4 inches, the others are all closer to 2.

How did you sex yours? What size are they?
