Post by Linz »

Hi,

Im new to fish keeping and have recently bought a 13.8 Uk gal tank (600x300x350mm) I have 3 Zebra Danio's in at the moment which are cycling the tank.
I really want a Cory next but not sure what kind will be best Ive been looking at Adolfoi, Purur, Rabauti and Prionotus.
I cant have any that will grow too big as my tank is quite small.
What do you think will be best and do I need a pair or are they ok on their own?

Many thanks in advance

You could quite easily keep a couple of medium sized pairs in that size of tank, C. rabauti and C. prionotus would make a good contrast.

Hi Linz!
Well, your tank isn't big but it is still god for some cory's... i will recommend you to take c.rabauti cuz i have them and they are really funny little buggers! :D
...it will be ok to take tem few, like 4 or 6, but do not overpopulate your tank with other bottom feeders... do not take only one fish cuz cory's are social fish and they really need good company of their own kind.
hope it helps!
kind regards
