colour of Brochis multiradiatus

Post by Phill Austen »

Hi, I have a small group of B. multiradiatus (6) that are a very lovely reflective green, much the same colour as B. splendens. I have recently come by another two recently imported fish that after settling in appear to be a dark blue. Is this a different race? or is this colouration environmental? Both groups are kept in water ph 7, kh 4, gh 6. I have not mixed them yet, I have become very shy of introducing new fish, they have been with me for two weeks. Any ideas?
regards, Phill.

Some pictures would be a big help, its difficult to make any kind of judgment just from a written description,
