Cory Preds?

Post by BoBzz »

I was wondering what eats cories in nature?

Is it available/keepable in the hobby?

I realize this is sort of an odd question, but I figured whatever it was would have to be pretty specialized to deal with the spines and all.

4x Myleus/Metyinnis sp. (2-3") 1x Leporinus Fasciatus (2")

1x Pseudomystus Siamensis 1x Ompok sp. (5")

In one word 'Hoplias' they are evil fish, I know of a 12' specimen that would willingly take a couple of fingers off in one bite and be straight back for the rest. Cory spines are no match for this beast.

That should have been 12 inches.

Its range is fairly wide spread throughout central and northern South America.
