Wanted: C. Soldalis
Hi all,
I came home with a lone Corydoras soldalis (which a forum member kindly identified for me) at my recent fish club meeting. I'm looking to adopt or purchase 5-7 friends so this cory has a school of their own. I'm located in the NYC area. Is anyone breeding them nearish to me? Or - long shot - anyone looking to rehome some? Or thinks their local store might have them? Given the size of NYC's mail systems, I'd prefer to only arrange overnight shipping with the seller (at my expense, of course). Juveniles or adults is fine by me (as long as they're big enough to safely ship/transport). I'm hoping to find some soon so my cory doesn't stay lonely long and before super hot summer weather arrives here in NYC. Thanks for any suggestions.

Hi YFS,
Corydoras sodalis often show up at LFS but are sold as something else (another cory species). I've seen them for sale as Corydoras agassizii, Corydoras reticulatus, and even Corydoras julii. Usually they are priced around $7 USD each. Keep checking out your LFS and if you can time it right, visit just after they get new shipments.
Good luck!
Eric

Hi! Sorry to hear of your bad shipping experience. I'm actually still looking for C. Sodalis. I got a lone cory of this type at my fish club but am looking for friends for them.

Hi @mcleanross, are you located in California? If so, where? If you're in the SF bay area or Sacramento area, check out the various Pet Club locations. They often sell sodalis, usually under the wrong name.mcleanross wrote: ↑29 Jun 2022, 02:59 Hi guys,
I know the conversation is over but can you share with me some of your Corydoras sellalis farming experiences? I bought 5 but lost 2, I also had a long shipping process from NY to CA 1 week ago.
I have a few sodalis, and they are quite hardy.
Cheers, Eric
