P. Sturio/Sturgeon Cat

Post by mokmu »

I'd like to know more about the habitat of the Sturgeon cat. Where would they be normally found?
Will they also do well in a driftwood snag set up? Or will their long whiskers "snag" within the driftwood. I would like to house them in this tank but am not sure how it will do. I currently have a pim/pseudacanthicus tank but it already contains too many critters as well as some frisky asian cats. Any chance of the driftwood set up happening for the sturgeon cat? btw, the snag contains my panaques and 4 silver dollars. Thanks.

Regards,
Mike D.

Check the Cat-elog under the letter "S" of Common Names. Sturgeon Catfish or try

Platystomatichthys sturio
