L455, L456, L457: Are they the same?

I would like to know if L455, L456, and L457 are considered the same species or different. They look similar.

They do not exist as a species ....having not been scientifically described as a species...if you noticed 2 of the 3 show different point of origin and the 3rd probably comes from another drainage again. Until they are looked at by someone the L-number gods have kept them separated by origin...this is often the case with L-numbers and makes sense until they are scientifically described.

Yes, I knew that; my bad for using the word "species." I suppose I overstated my question. I meant to ask, Are they considered to be the same, perhaps representing local variants of a fish with a wider distribution, or are they regarded as being really different fish? Hopefully that says it better.

My understanding is they need some study...Jools may know more on this...(who your original question was aimed at)

Naw they are regular people...OH oh did I just say that in public...no no they are an ethereal race that has a special connection with the Loricariids of South America!!(in the past have been known to ride giant catfish in Loch Ness)
