Corydoras Adolfoi Setup
Corydoras Adolfoi Setup
Hi mates.
I've recently got 2 wildcought C.Adolfoi and I will get 4-5 more in about four days.
I have now made a tank to my two Adolfoi. Its about 45 liters with many hiding places (roots).
So my question: do u think this is a nice tank to them?

Dan,
I think it is perfect as is. You have nice cover for the adolfoi as well as an open area. They will be very happy in this set up.

Thanks Mark. Im glad to hear your nice words. This is a bit random, but is it hard to breed them? And is 45 liters aquarium enough for 6-7 adolfois?

Re: Corydoras Adolfoi Setup
Dan,
I have bred most of my Corydoras in 10 gallon aquariums. That is a little less than 45ltrs. I have not found adolfoi to be difficult to spawn. Although they scatter their eggs about, many are laid at or near the water line.
Good luck
Mark

Re: Corydoras Adolfoi Setup
I think about 8 years assuming they are at least close to one year old at first so that makes it 9 years. 10 years would be my guestimate for some longer lived individual specimens.Dan Dihn wrote:One more question. How old may an Adolfoi be?
