Brand new to this site...I have 110 planted discus and dithers and 90 acrylic with 10 albino angels...plus dithers...am in need of ancistrus...perhaps 4 or 5 for each tank...Question...will these catfish scratch an acrylic tank?...heard it somewhere...my tanks are quite beautiful, but scraping algae from acrylic is a chore...I've had ancistrus and/or bristlenoses before...need to know about this scratch thing...than I'd like to purchase some not too bigish fish...I've had discus for 40 plus years, they'll go to a good home...Thanks and Happy Holidays...Angelguy

yes Ancistrus types and Hypostomus types WILL scratch and ruin acrylic ....
you should be okay with the acrylic with Otocinclus types & Garra (asian algae eaters
