Unknown Pseudacanthicus sp. Tapajos basin

Post by Unungy »

Hi.

I've received few of these what appear to be a new specie from the tapajos basin.
Please take a look at the pics and feel free to comment.

They came in very bad shape but after 4 weeks of quarantine, they have regained their natural color and apatite.

It is very pretty! I wish i could help you with the I.d.

Thank you guys... All of you have confirmed what I was not sure about.
This seems to be a little different form of what I'm used to receive but certainly it is the same family.

Thanks again.

I think it's the really flat head that gives it away. I found among the Pseudas I have owned (L273, L114, L25 and L160) the L273 has the flattest head.
