Re: New group of L128
#1 looks like a L200 to me. I've never seen L128 that green, perhaps I'm wrong.

Hi,
I can assure you that they are all L128.
I measured them, and they are all between 18cm and 21 TL.
Any idea about the sexes?
Thanks

Why don't you tell us what you think, and we can say if we agree or not. After all, you should have some experience with similar ones.

Re: New group of L128
I find L200 and L128 very hard to sex from above. The more accurate way IMO to sex them is to look at their genitals.

I think 1 & 6 are males.
Maybe 5 also a subdominant male.

Re: New group of L128
I agree 1 & 6 are definitely males. 5 probably also. But like PlecoCrazy, I find it very hard to sex these from above (and photos of the genital area are usually hard to read too...)

Re: New group of L128
We will see.
They are now in a 150 x 60 x 50cm tank, I will condition them for this winter.
I will try to breed them in smaller tanks, only per trio.
Cheers

1 and six definitely have the long whiskers we find on males, I would strongly agree
