pimelodus blochii

does any body know why my pimlodus blochii is up rooting all the plants in ym tank? If so do you know how I can stop it?

Tie his fins behind his back :D or take out the plants will cure the problem.

Nobody seems to agree with me, but I maintain that they're a shoaling fish and these behaviour problems are displacement activity due to lack of conspecifics to interact with.

Of course if you get some more and I'm wrong you'll have an even greater problem than before.

BTW with a bit of encouragement they will learn to take food from your hand.
