Hi

I bought seven fishes that were sold under the name Lepthoplosternum pectorale. Do you agree with this identification? Many thanks.

Looks right, but it would help to have a pic showing the tail. It should be broad and shaped like a paintbrush, not forked as in
Hoplosternum punctatum

Correct. Compliment your LFS for not selling them as
Callichthys callichthys
