There are 1700 species in the Cat-eLog - there's probably about 500 more species in the world, but those are rare (or misidentified) in the trade - and until we have a photo of the fish, we don't generally put a data-sheet in the Cat-eLog.
To find fish according to size, you can use:
http://www.planetcatfish.com/catelog/search.php
You can also enter temperature (be as CLOSE to the temperature as possible, meaning 27-28'C will show more fishes than 25-28'C for example) and restrict the choice to being on family or even genus.
There are 132 species that are 10-12" long here. [But 103 of those are "Loricariidae", so plecos of one sort or another. Many catfish tend to be either smaller or larger than this size... 332 are larger than 300mm, 1428 are shorter than 250mm]
In Pimelodidae (where the "sailfin pim" belongs) there are only a few species in roughly that size range, 1 that is 10-12",
